a) Location: Bao Loc City and a part of Bao Lam
District, Lam Dong Province.

scope: the entire administrative boundary of Bao Loc City (06 wards and 05
communes) and neighboring areas of Bao Lam District (including 5 communes: Loc
An, Loc Tan, Loc Thanh, Loc Nam, and Tan Lac).

Reasons and necessity of the planning:
a) To meet the new role and position of
Bao Loc City in Lam Dong Province:

of the city's socio-economic development; deserving to be the regional urban,
and a provincial city in the future.

b) To form the general planning as the
basis for deploying programs and projects, creating a motivation to speed up
the urbanization and building up of Bao Loc City until 2020 to become a
grade-II urban center. By 2040, Bao Loc City will approach the criteria of
grade-I urban center according to the guidelines of the Provincial Party
Committee and the provincial People's Committee of the province.
c) To overcome some shortcomings in the
process of urban and rural development in the planning area.
d) To integrate the development of
urban space according to the spatial development strategy of Lam Dong Province:

development achievements, geographic advantage, geographical diversity of urban
