He hoped the ambassador will make active
contributions to the sound relations between the two countries as well as
coordinate effectively with relevant agencies to help both countries fully
tap their bilateral cooperation potential.
The PM recommended the two sides support each other
at multilateral forums, emphasising that 2020 is an important year for both
countries when Vietnam plays the role of ASEAN Chair while Saudi Arabia
takes the G20 Presidency.
For his part, the ambassador said Saudi Arabia
attaches great importance to the relations with Vietnam, adding that his
important task during the working tenure in Vietnam is promoting the
bilateral cooperation in all fields, including trade and investment.
The ambassador told the PM that he had worked with
some ministries and departments of Vietnam to seek stronger collaboration in
health care and trade.
Saudi Arabia has an open market, so this is a great
chance for the two sides’ businesses to step up trade and investment
partnership, he added./.
